At present, National Institute of Metrology, China (NIM) is the only OIML Issuing Authority in China approved by the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML). Upon the strict review by the OIML Management Committee (MC), NIM has officially performed its duties as the OIML Issuing Authority, China since January 2018, and become one of the 12 OIML issuing authorities around the world officially released on the OIML website for now.
OIML Issuing Authority, China possesses a full set of well-established system of OIML Certificate issuance. The quality system of the issuing authority was established in accordance with international standards such as ISO/IEC 17065 Conformity Assessment - Requirements for Bodies Certifying Products, Processes and Services and OIML D32 Guide for the Application of ISO/IEC 17065 to Assessment of Measuring Instrument Certification Bodies in Legal Metrology, so it complies with OIML-CS requirements.
